Danny the Tank 2

Danny's still at the door, still moaning through the letterbox. Now he's been joined by Mrs Khan from the Fruit & Veg shop and a bloke with rigger boots on. They're all trying to get in. Mrs Khan always used to be really fit, for an older woman. Now she looks really ropey, I think she's only got one ear. It's hard to see as the window is smeared with blood now. I think she might be diseased like Paul said. Might steer stay upstairs for a while, see if they lose interest and push off.

    My trip across the rooftops was productive. Found a couple in the end flat who also have a loft conversion. A friend of theirs who was a CSO reckoned that we're looking at something like rabies making folks really aggressive. Sounds pretty nasty down there. Hopefully they'll calm down and go home when it gets dark.

    How you doing for food? I'm getting low, but dont want to go out the front door. Might try the roof, excellent idea.

    I thought with rabies you foamed at the mouth. Perhaps they've got swine rabies. Whatever it is I dont want it.

    Food wise, i'm low now. I'd been using a couple of disposable barbequeue's in the yard with the last of food from my freezer. My downstairs neightbours were still in the flat apparently - I heard them groaning, but didn't see them except their kid. I thought he was after some food, but he stumbled over the barbequeue and kept trying to bite me. I threw him off and got back inside pretty quick.

    I hope I'm not infected now. Got a nasty scratch on my arm where I fell. I think I might have to leave soon, the kid has been scratching against the back door for hours: completely ignored the food.

    The damn kid did bit me, but didn't break the skin? Maybe I'm ok, but I've got a few other scratches that I've been treating with TCP and taking random antibiotics... Feel ok so far, a bit sad though that could be the rum.
